Paul Lincke has prolific blood red blossoms that often show around March. It generally has a variety of buds that open at different times, which can be beneficial for areas that get late frosts. This is a great plant that was hybridized in 1961 by Cecil Seabrook of Puyallup, Washington. If his name is familiar it is because he also hybridized the very well-known Grace Seabrook, which is also bright red.
Paul Lincke grow to around 4' tall at maturity. Place in partial shade to full sun. It is hardy to 5°F when protected from windchill.
