Built on a concept of high-quality Japanese fabrics and a commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Originally produced for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive line of JAPAN BLUE JEANS, it relaunches in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.”

Production centers around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue” — representing Japanese denim — with “Refabric,” a coined word blending Republic and Fabric. Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s textile heritage while creating garments that bring out the individuality of the wearer.

Primarily using premium denim from Okayama, each piece is carefully made in trusted domestic factories. The brand pursues a design that is minimal yet grounded, allowing the texture and character of the fabric to speak. From the “country of fabric, Japan” to the world—Blue refabric proposes a new standard rooted in respect for Japanese textiles.

The fabric uses duck cloth with a naturally irregular texture. By omitting a lining, it is designed for wear across multiple seasons.

The paraffin finish adds light water repellency and resistance to dirt, enhancing practicality.



The paraffin coating, created by infusing wax into the fabric, develops unique aging over time, including chalk marks—where creases and folds appear lighter—and a natural fade that adds character.





Comfortable wear
The waist features an easy design with elastic and a drawcord for adjustable fit. The drawcord is placed inside, and by eliminating a front placket, the waist area maintains a clean, minimal look.



The front pockets are set deep for practicality, and a rear pocket—essential for easy pants—is also included.

The minimal construction achieves both effortless comfort and a refined appearance.



While most easy pants use overlock stitching, this pair features flat-felled seams, adding thickness to the seams and creating pronounced puckering.

This detail gives the garment a rugged, vintage-inspired character.
