For sale here is a bamboo rod with nodeless blanks made by Bernard Ramanauskas. The rod was then finished by the late George Guba. The rod is modeled after a Dickerson 8013 taper. Eight feet, two sections and two tips, for a five weight line. The rod is in near mint condition having only been lawn cast. Straw colored cane with cinnamon wraps and black tipping. Slightly swelled butt. Cigar grip 5 3/4" in length. Aluminum down-locking reel seat with a fine walnut spacer. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 13/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 4.55 oz. Medium-fast action with plenty of backbone for larger flies and/or windy conditions. Includes original bag and tube.
