Rust-Oleum PVDF Primer – Super Adhesion Primer for Cladding and Metals

Rust-Oleum PVDF Primer is a single-pack, high-adhesion primer specially designed for PVDF/PVF2 cladding, whether new or weathered. It also offers outstanding bonding on difficult substrates like galvanised steel, zinc, aluminium, and hard plastics. Tack-free in just 30 minutes, it simplifies surface preparation and acts as the perfect base for Metal Cladding Topcoat, NOXYDE®, and NOXYDE® Peganox systems.

Surface Preparation

Remove grease, oil and all other surface contaminations by alkaline or high pressure
cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Sand intact coatings to roughen the
surface slightly. Remove zinc or aluminium corrosion with Surfa-Etch 108. The surface
must be clean and dry.
