The bountiful and robust trusses of Kaye Player display brilliant pink ruffled flowers around April or May, depending on growing conditions. The blossoms have a lighter hue toward the center, and are accented by a distinct dark crimson pattern on the dorsal lobe. This rhododendron has very nice deep green foliage, which makes excellent skirting for showing off its special blooms. 

Kaye Player is not commonly available, but we are proud to offer this dwarf hybrid at Rocky Knoll Farm. It grows to about 3' tall at maturity, and does well in full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
