Course Description:

It is a fundamental human right to live without discrimination and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is one of the fundamental principles of providing care that respects each individual. 

Living in a diverse society means responding appropriately to those around us and all staff play a role in promoting the principles of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and challenging discriminatory practices. In this course, you will learn strategies to challenge discrimination & promote positive, inclusive environments.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the meaning and importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion 
• Recognise different forms of discrimination both intentional and unintentional
• Know how to promote a positive and inclusive environment and how to challenge discrimination
