Lovely trusses adorned with violet flowers, sit atop attractive small green leaves. Ramapo is quite lovely and a good grower. Thus, it is a winner of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society. 

This adorable dwarf hybrid rhododendron is hardy to -25°F when protected from windchill, grows densely and blooms as early as March. Ramapo likes a combination of plenty of sun, watering weekly as needed, and soil that drains very well. Grows to about 2' in height at maturity.
