For sale here is a Lyle Dickerson Model 8014 bamboo rod. 8', 2/2 for a 6 weight line. Built in 1948. Excellent+ restored condition, most likely by Jim Schaaf. All sections are full-length. The rod weighs 4 1/2 oz. Payne-style grip with down-locking hardware and walnut spacer. Shrink wrap has been placed over the grip for protection. Transparent honey colored silk thread wraps with black edging contrast beautifully against the blonde cane. Blued nickel silver ferrules and guides. Classic 3x3 Dickerson node pattern. The ferrule fit is great; size 14/64. Medium-fast action. Comes with original bag and replacement tube with brass fittings.
