For sale here is an absolutely stunning Ron Kusse bamboo rod. A special order Mahogany - 7'6" 2/2 for a 5 weight line. The rod is in near mint original condition. The "Mahogany" label is defined from the stunning dark cane finish. Rich ruby wraps with black tipping. Blued hardware throughout with the exception of the bright tip-tops. Petite cigar grip. Elegant cap and ring reel seat with fine knurling. "Kusse" stamp on the buttcap. The spacer is fine mortised mahogany to match the dark cane finish. Swiss-style ferrules size 12/64. The fit is nice and tight as it should be. The rod's action is medium-fast but definitely not as stiff as some of Kusse's rods. The rod weighs 3 1/2 oz.
