(Kalimeris is a genus of plants in the sunflower family; the blend is from all three communes). A subtle application of wood toast frames cool and restrained if slightly riper aromas of pear, apple and a plenitude of citrus and floral elements. The succulent, round and utterly delicious larger-scaled flavors exude evident minerality on the caressing but impressively powerful, firm, youthfully austere and strikingly long finish. There is a touch of warmth but it’s not enough to materially impair the sense of balance on the equally dry finale.
