Does the ABS sensor come wired and ready to plug in?

Yes. The sensor is pre-assembled into the unit. Locate the ABS harness near the hub, unplug the old sensor connector, and snap the new one in—no splicing or crimping.

Can I install just the bearing, or does the whole assembly have to come out?

The whole assembly comes out as one unit and goes back in as one unit. That's the trade-off for having everything pre-matched and the ABS sensor already integrated—you're buying convenience and fitment certainty.
