The Showing Saddle is just that: all about show! It is a dressage-styled flap which allows the horse's shoulder to be seen in an elegant manner in the show ring. It is simple in design with a soft, padded thigh and knee area and no external blocks. Showing Saddles are excellent for North American Saddleseat riders; allowing the horse's scapulae to move unimpeded through their full range-of-motion while under saddle. Showing Saddles also make great saddles for classical Dressage riders seeking a simple, pared-down saddle option akin to pre-2000's Dressage saddles.

The Duskin was built to be an entry-level saddle that features some of the same benefits for the horse and features for the rider as the WOW Saddle. Duskin Saddles are designed to offer great performance at a more accessible price, which means they don’t include the full range of customization options available with a WOW Saddle.

Built on FTE's new Total Flex Tree, the Duskin Showing Saddle offers unique flexibility laterally and longitudinally while maintaining excellent support and distributing pressure evenly across a large surface area. The Total Flex Tree is designed to distribute the rider’s weight evenly over a wide area while completely avoiding pressure on the horse’s spinal processes. Its clever design allows for the expansion of the horses musculature as the horse moves.

The Duskin's panels are comprised of a resilient foam layer that is then further lined by a soft foam that moulds to the shape of the horse's musculature. Panels can be upgraded to WOW's Flair or Flair MKII (+$900 - $1056) panels. Alternatively, you could pair your new Duskin Saddle with a WOW Korrector Air Pad ($750 - $798) designed for use specifically with the Duskin Dressage Saddle, which offers the same great benefits as WOW's Flair panels.

Our price includes two Duskin headplates. Duskins come with a built-in Point Strap and Back Balance Strap as well as WOW’s standard W girthing system for complete adaptability to any horse's unique conformation. WOW’s Foregirth Option (+$180) can also be installed for you prior to delivery.

We recommend having your horse measured and fitted for a WOW Saddle by a trained and certified WOW Saddle Fitter using an authentic WOW Saddle Gauge within about 30 days of ordering your new saddle. Be prepared to provide all your horse's measurements, such as: headplate, front and rear gussets, tree curvature, girth groove alignment, and total bearing surface length. While some of these measurements are not required when purchasing a Duskin, this information may be helpful in ordering the correct Duskin Saddle for you and your horse.

If you have not had your horse measured and fitted for a WOW Saddle yet, or do not have a WOW Saddle Fitter in your area, Delfina Saddlery is home to two of only three fully trained and certified WOW Saddle Fitters in North America.
