Will the edges yellow without protection?

Carbon fiber can discolor at exposed edges when exposed to direct sunlight without sealing. Seal any raw edges with clear coat or edge sealant after installation to maintain the finish and prevent UV damage.

Can I install this myself?

Yes. Since this trunk uses factory mounting points and latch locations, installation requires basic hand tools and no modifications to your vehicle. Disconnect the factory latch cable and hinge bolts, then transfer them to the new panel.
