Beautifully tailored rare vintage 1950s cream ribbon work jacket with lovely blonde and honey hue mink fur. Wonderful twisted cream ribbon work “soutache” design. Portrait collar frames the neckline and creates incredible contrast against the cream ribbon work base. 3/4 length sleeves, set off the box cut, accented by decorative scalloped edging. Ribbon work has the loveliest arc half belt shaped detail in the back. Lined in trailing floral embroidered rayon, every last detail of this piece showcases the craftsmanship of the era. Single hook and eye closure. The collar is detachable with snap ons which makes it easier to care for this piece. Label: None

Excellent vintage condition, the only flaw is some ever so slight yellowing near bottom edge of the fur collar and sleeves only noticeable under close inspection.
