What prep is needed before I install these?

Verify fitment by checking your existing bumper and skirt mounting points first. Once confirmed, clean the contact areas on your vehicle's body and underside where the kit will bolt. Rough up the OEM paint slightly where the new panels overlap to help adhesive or fasteners seat properly.

Do the side skirts sit flush with the rocker panel, or do I need gap filler?

The skirts are engineered to align with OEM rocker geometry. Small gaps between the skirt and body are normal and can be filled with seam sealer or flexible caulk after installation — this also protects against water and debris intrusion along the rocker line.
