This beautiful tunic brings to mind the designs of Mariano Fortuny and Maria Gallenga but I believe this was created much later. The beads and sequins that adorn the hand stenciled design would date it to the 1960s or later.

The tunic is black tulle (I think synthetic), stencil printed with gorgeous bouquets of flowers and foliage, tied up with a sweet little bow. There is also a gorgeous border print at the hem. The stencils are accented with glass beads and gold sequins to give the piece a very rich, beautiful look. Its a simple, over the head tunic with a little tie at the back of the neck as well as ribbons of tulle attached at the waist.
