The inspiration for this collection was an adorable vintage advertising postcard depicting mermaids using a hair tonic to keep them younger looking while gettin rid of grey hair. We have removed the advertising and are left with an amazing vintage image.

We have included 4 postcards with the mermaids, 2 wooden mermaid shapes, some of our signature papers and a Seafarer Shells cardstock, a half sheet of teal crepe paper, a set of 10 A2 size teal folders and envelopes, 2 pale pink pearlized seashell shaped mats, 4 strips of blue seashell Dresden die-cut borders, some gold Dresden anchors, forks, music symbols, clipper ships, pink embellishments and green and gold Dresden fish. The assortment of ribbons and trims in this collection is amazing, some very unusual trims that reminded us of an underwater theme, such as 2 examples of our unusual Fan Loop Braid in a lovely peach color and in an iridescent material, they remind us of fish scales. There are 2 colors of cotton crochet lace, aqua rickrack, dotted cotton tape, skinny floral, geometric, and a wave jacquard, iridescent rococo, and trim, 2 sizes of cute mermaid satin ribbons, and a peach with white seahorse ribbon. For more embellishments we have included 3 each of hand stitched braid flowers, white anchors, a pair of jumping dolphin patch, and a large pale blue heart iron on applique. Yes, there is a yard of aqua shimmer tulle, and 2 yards of blue and white string pearls. Lastly the cutest little glass bottle with Seashell glass glitter.

These ephemera collections are not meant as a kit to make anything specific, they are meant as inspiration, to add to your stash with a theme, in this case "Mermaids".
