Details: About Reli. Oxo-Biodegradable Trash Bags:Each trash bag uses ASTM 6954-certified EPI TDPA additives for oxo-biodegradability. Extent and quickness of degradation will depend on surrounding environment and product formulation. EPI TDPA technology enables products made from polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) to degrade at a controlled rate (over many years) when in an appropriate commercial compost facility environment including, for example, photo (sunlight), thermal (heat) and/or mechanical stress in the presence of oxygen, moisture, and microorganisms. Extent and quickness of degradation will depend on surrounding environment and product formulation; stated rates and extent of decomposition do not mean that the product will continue to decompose. Commercial compost facilities can be found throughout the United States, locatable via local governments and online search.Examples of EPI TDPA Application: LDPE-TDPA oxidized samples go through significant biodegradation (50 – 60% by carbon dioxide evolution) over 18 months as mediated by soil micro-organisms. EPI TDPA-incorporated PE bags can speed up degradation by 100's to 1000's of times faster compared to conventional PE bags when tested under ASTM D5282 Outdoor Exposure Testing Guidelines. EPI TDPA can facilitate total degradation of polyethylene carrier bags within 24 - 36 months with the appropriate formulation and disposal environment.Each case includes 250 Trash Bags developed and distributed using Reli's global and domestic operations to enable premium quality with wholesale quantity & prices.All of the bags are green in color to provide a visually appealing look while indicating eco-friendliness and hiding trash bag contents.
