Per started as an apprentice to Berndt Friberg at Gustavsberg in 1977. He was the last apprentice of Friberg who died in 1981. After the closure of the Gustavsberg Studio in 1984, he started his own workshop in Strängnäs. Today he works with a white porcelain clay which gives his glazures the luster he is striving for. The development of his glazures has been molded through a number of journeys to China and Japan as well as experimenting in the workshop. Today Per produces ceramics of absolute world class. Since 2017 he lives in Gotland, Sweden.
