HeatWave merges sleek minimalist design with advanced physics principles to create an exceptional infrared heater for outdoor patios. Developed with the Enzo Ferrari Department at the University of Modena, this patio heater optimises heat radiation by utilising emissivity linked to temperature and colour for efficient energy use.

The silver surface of the heater maximises radiation across all temperatures and wavelengths. Precise calculations of the silver surface and anodising thickness enhance emissivity. The cross-sectional design, with decreasing thickness, ensures even heat distribution from the heating elements, while longitudinal ribs expand the radiating surface to intensify and extend the range of warmth.

Optimised insulation between the radiant body and upper structure maximises heat transmission to its intended area, incorporating technical measures to reduce thermal bridge effects.

Durability is a key feature, achieved through meticulous material selection. The armoured heating elements are silicone-coated and IP67-rated to protect against humidity, extending their lifespan and preventing short circuits. Operating at 340°C, this infrared heater for outdoor patios ensures optimal infrared ray emission while remaining within anodization decay limits.
