Vintage Christian Dior long chain necklace in gold plate, dated 1972. This long and substantial heritage necklace features chunky flat-sided oval-shaped chain links with an intricately patterned finish, punctuated at intervals by four jaunty nautical hook details. The necklace fastens with a foldover clasp and measures approximately 31.5 inches in length so that it can either be worn long or doubled up for a dramatic choker effect. Good condition with some wear to the plating commensurate with the significant age of this collectors' item. Signed Chr. Dior Germany 1972 to underside of clasp.
