How this painting came to be named is very special to a grandmother's heart.

Soon after it was finished, my son came by and happened to see it. The first thing he said was, "The Georgia Eye." Though I'd first thought of something like "Aqua Sun," it was when he referenced my first grand's name that I knew it was the right name for this turquoise beauty. Indeed, it captured the exact spirit and essence of the work.

Now all these years later, it still rings true.
