​This oil painting is an intimate portrait that embodies the moment of authentic surrender and serene beauty.

​Working on a gallery-wrapped wooden panel, I layered 24k gold leaf and oil paint across several transparent textiles, including fine silk and organza. This unique process allows light to filter through the surface, creating an ethereal glow that makes the dreamy figure and her surrounding roses appear almost illuminated from within. The work is a quiet affirmation of the innocent spirit—a celebration of the strength and tranquility found when we unveil our most unburdened, beautiful self.
