Ti Ju Seng Oui, or “House of the Earth God” in Chinese language, is the altar for Earth God worshiped by both Chinese and Thai people since ancient days, as it is believed that the Earth God would bring wealth and prosperity to them.

Time passed by, from past to present, the cultures, the habitats, the environments are changed dramatically. However, the beliefs from our ancestors are still there. The new form is developed but it still follows the fundamental faith. The design process of this Earth God House emphasized on the study of the details of the whole structure. Research on the crucial parts, dimensions, the relative proportions etc. had been done excessively, in order to keep all the essential meaning of the original faith. Finally then, the form was designed.
