Clifton's Cafeterias opened in Los Angeles in the 1930s with a radical promise that anyone could eat, regardless of ability to pay. Located on Broadway and Olive Street, these themed dining halls fed Depression-era Angelenos for over eight decades. Some restaurants serve meals, but Clifton's served dignity.
Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
