Aged in barrels and fermented for the first time with 50% whole clusters, the 2019 Pinot Noir S offers a deep, refined and finely toasty bouquet of dark fruits with some elegant toasty notes. Silky, fresh and very elegant on the palate, with ripe and refreshing cherry fruit and refreshing tannin and acidity structure that leads to a long and tensioned finish, this is a remarkably good Pinot from the Schlossberg that was bottled in December 2021. It's a wine with energy and a tight, refreshing finish. 13% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2022.
