Updating a Classic Jacket for the Modern Era
Based on the denim pullover jacket adopted by the U.S. Army in the 1930s, this jacket uses carefully selected fabrics to give it a modern update.

The warp yarn is dyed with high-purity indigo dye, repeatedly dyed to achieve a vibrant blue color with minimal irregularities. The weft yarn uses gray threads to add depth, resulting in a fabric full of character that faithfully reproduces the denim of the time.

Additionally, it is made from a slightly lightweight 9-ounce fabric, making it a versatile piece that can be worn as a light outer layer in spring or as an inner layer in winter.

A Beautiful Blue 9-Ounce Denim
The fabric is made from a soft and comfortable 9-ounce denim with a beautiful blue color. The warp yarn is dyed with high-purity indigo dye, and more rope dyeing is performed than usual to achieve a vivid blue color with minimal unevenness. The weft yarn deliberately uses gray threads to create a deep and atmospheric look.

Additionally, a used wash has been applied to give it a naturally worn-in appearance right from the start.






Faithful Reproduction of the Original
The design is based on the denim pullover jacket that was adopted by the U.S. Army in the 1930s. It faithfully reproduces the details that would have been present in workwear rather than combat gear.



The front features a half-button design, allowing for various styling options depending on the choice of innerwear. The buttons bear the imprint "U.S. ARMY," showcasing attention to detail.



Two large pockets, the jacket's most prominent feature, are placed on both chest sides. They are positioned parallel to the front buttons, making them easily accessible and convenient for storing items like smartphones.



There are two buttons at the cuffs, allowing for adjustment according to your preference. Additionally, side slits have been added for ease of movement.
