Ready-To-Use Surface Sanitizer EPA Registration Number 6836-70-58783 is one of the best disinfectants of 2020 to kill the Coronavirus. RTU Surface Sanitizer is a potent quaternary ammonium disinfectant chemical for use as a spray to rid surfaces of viruses. This product was recently certified by the EPA on March 3rd, 2020. Note: This product can be used on any hard surface for institutional use.  JS600 RTU Surface Sanitizer is a clear liquid with a slight chemical odor.

Being a respiratory virus, COVID-19 spreads primarily through droplets when an infected person – whether showing symptoms or not – coughs or sneezes without wearing a mask, or when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose or mouth. Ready-To-Use Surface Sanitizer can help protect yourself from COVID-19 by disinfecting the surfaces you may commonly come into contact with.

How To Use It

Prior to sanitizing with any disinfectant, it is always recommend to first clean the surface with an all purpose cleaner, or in the case of automotive interiors, we recommend a prep clean with Xpress Interior Cleaner.  Once cleaned, the EPA recommended time for deactivating viruses using Read-To-Use Surface Sanitizer is 10 minutes. This means the surface must remain wet with the product for 10 minutes in order to be the most effective.

To Disinfect Hard Nonporous Surfaces:

When used on surfaces in areas such as locker rooms, dressing rooms, shower and bath areas and exercise facilities, this product is an effective fungicide against Trichophyton mentagrophytes (athletes foot fungus). 

Apply solution with a cloth, mop sponge, sprayer or by immersion, thoroughly wetting surfaces.

For Sprayer applications, use a coarse spray device. Spray 6-8 inches from surface, rub, with brush, sponge or cloth. Do not breathe in the spray. For spray applications, cover or remove all food products.

Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. Wipe dry with a clean cloth, sponge or mop, or allow to air dry.

Rinse food contact surfaces such as counter tops, tables, picnic tables, appliances and or stove tops with potable water prior to reuse. Do not use on glasses, dishes or utensils as a disinfectant. Can be used on door handles. This product is not for use on medical device surfaces.

For heavily soiled areas, pre-clean surface first.

For Automotive Cleaning:

When cleansing automotive interiors, the proper personal protection should be use at all times. The following are recommendations for using products that are effective at sterilizing surfaces.

All processes should be completed by a professional who is educated on the risks associated with working with viruses. Spot testing should be completed to avoid the risk of possible damage when wiping down surfaces with RTU Surface Sanitizer. This product can also be used on any hard surface for institutional use.
