The theme of this series is inspired by the 40th anniversary stone, the ruby. In keeping with this, the rod shaft is a deep, translucent ruby red. It is complimented by red agate stripping guides and deep red guide wraps, with silver accents. The aesthetics of our series is in kind with our bamboo rods: nickel silver reel seats, coupled with highly figured and richly varnished walnut reel-seat spacers. Each rod comes with an extra tip and is packed in a hand-crafted leather case.

The rod has a fast action well suited for large rivers and windy conditions. The rod weighs 4 3/4 oz. The original bag and tube are very well done. The bag features and stiffening dowell and T&T tag. The leather tube has been tanned to a warm caramel color with brass accents. This is a rare and exceptionally fine rod for the T&T fan or collector.
