Here the nose blends both upper and lower register aromas as the pretty red berry liqueur-like notes combine with pungent earth and iron nuances. There is a slight sweetness to the rich, supple and mouth coating medium-bodied flavors where the firm supporting tannins display relatively little rusticity on the sappy and delicious finish. I like the touch of minerality that surfaces on the finish and if this can develop additional depth in bottle, my predicted range could be unduly conservative. (86-89)/2016+
