Gorgeous Italian Sardinian coral beads in a true red color that is all natural. This beautiful deep red color is called oxblood red. These coral beads have an excellent polish and shine. They were  hand cut into tube or barrels with rounded edges. They average 10mm in length and 5.5mm in width. They have a very even color and very minimal pits or inclusions. These came out of a dealer's estate, imported in the 1960's. They are so hard to find now days, especially this large a size. Red coral has been overmined  to almost extinction. 
These beads have not been dyed, and are not bamboo
