Sometimes pictures just aren't enough to show how beautiful a plant is. This German hybrid rhododendron shows off trusses of rich purple blossoms with an incredible orange, green and yellow pattern against a light lavender on the dorsal. These blooms create a spectacle in both gardens and landscapes.

Tamarindos can grow to about 5' at maturity, has broadly elliptic foliage, and is hardy to -10°F when protected from windchill. Plant in full sun to partial shade, water weekly as needed. Anticipate late midseason blooms.
