Chris McGregor's Brotherhood of Breath - Brotherhood LPChris was a South African jazz pianist who fell in love with the Black jazz scene. His group, the Blue Notes, were harrassed by authorities for being bi racial, leading to Chris leaving for England, where he continued with his deeply soulful jazz sounds. This second album, released in 1972, is a brilliant mix of avant garde free jazz and some laidback afro centric infusions.
