Symplex® Silex Shield 10H Ceramic Coating Ultra – 100 ml

Silex Shield 10H is Symplex®’s latest ultra-durable SiO2 ceramic coating, engineered for the professional detailer. With over 70% ceramic resins, it is designed to create a thick, mirror-like clear layer with extreme 10H hardness, delivering super hydrophobic performance, plus strong detergent and acid resistance.

Application (Professional Technique)

• Prep: Do not apply in direct sunlight or on a hot surface. Apply in closed areas.
• Load applicator: Dispense several drops onto a ceramic coating applicator and saturate it.
• Apply pattern: Use a cross-hatch technique with slight overlapping (the TDS also references a 30% overlapping technique).
• Flash time: Allow to flash for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until a rainbow flash effect becomes noticeable.
• Leveling: Gently clean and level using 2 microfiber towels until fully level. Use minimal pressure.
• Additional coats: If applying another coat, allow at least 1 hour between applications.
• Curing: Avoid contact with water for 24 hours. Curing time depends on environmental conditions—test a small inconspicuous area to confirm behavior.
