GYMPHLEX
Founded in 1936 in Leicester, England, Gymphlex originally began producing athletic shorts for the military. By the mid-20th century, the brand expanded into school gym uniforms, becoming widely adopted across the UK. It has since become a well-established British brand, even used as uniforms for the British national rugby team, polo clubs attended by Prince Charles, and prestigious schools such as Eton and Harrow.







Two Distinct Fabrics, Depending on the Color
Choose between two different fabric expressions: a washer finish or indigo twill.



＜Washer Finish＞ Available in “Charcoal” and “Dark Sax.” A special finishing process creates a naturally textured surface with subtle irregularities and a balanced firmness. The fabric reveals depth under changing light, producing rich shadows and dimension.

A garment wash finish allows it to naturally adapt to the body from the first wear, for a relaxed, vintage-inspired feel.



＜Indigo Twill＞ Available in the “Indigo” colorway. Crafted from fine-count cotton woven in a lightweight twill, it resembles chambray at first glance, but the twill weave creates a more refined sheen.

The indigo version is finished with garment washing only, with no additional processing.





An open collar designed with extra room around the neckline features a slightly widened shape. It provides excellent breathability and a light feel while giving the face a clean, refined appearance with a relaxed touch.



Shoulder pleats improve mobility, allowing natural arm movement without restriction during everyday activities.



A subtle embroidered logo is placed on the chest. Designed to be understated, it adds a quiet accent without interfering with overall styling.



The embroidery color is adjusted according to each fabric tone—off-white for Indigo and Dark Sax, and ecru for Charcoal—ensuring a natural harmony with each colorway.





Relaxed, Yet Refined.
Although designed with a relaxed wide silhouette, the fabric drapes naturally to create a clean, streamlined impression. It offers a comfortable fit that subtly flatters the body while maintaining a polished look that never appears sloppy.
