For sale here is a rare impregnated Orvis "Rocky Mountain" 6'6" spinning bamboo rod. Three sections with one tip. 3.60 oz. Serial #20328. Made in 1956. The rod is in excellent+ original condition. Chestnut brown wraps over medium-dark impregnated cane. The grip is bright and very clean. All script remains intact. Aluminum sliding bands reel seat over cork. Ferrule sizes 11/64 and 15/64, the fit is excellent. The rod has a fast, stiff action well suited for throwing spoons, rooster tails, and even worms to bass and trout. Original tube with Orvis tube cover and a original bag.
