Thermoguard Wallcoat System is an EN Class B s1 d0 certified intumescent coating for upgrading previously painted or multi-layered walls and ceilings. Combine the Wallcoat Insulating Basecoat with the Wallcoat SFR Topcoat (Matt or Eggshell) to provide flame spread control, smoke suppression and long-lasting protection without compromising aesthetics.

Ideal for plaster, plasterboard, Artex, brick or concrete, this two-part system upgrades high-risk surfaces in domestic, commercial or public settings. Available in thousands of BS, RAL and NCS shades.

Surface Preparation

• Clean and dry all surfaces

• Remove grease, smoke, or silicate residue

• Seal any water stains with a stain-blocking acrylic-compatible sealer

• Abrade hard or glossy surfaces with 120 grit wet/dry abrasive

• Rinse and let dry fully

• Fill and repair surface imperfections using a suitable filler
