The XBB OBD Dongle & PowerUnit is an advanced relay and driver combination that wirelessly detects signals from a vehicle’s CAN bus. In many modern cars with LED or Xenon headlamps, traditional relay wiring harnesses cannot be connected directly to the power cord of the bulb, as is possible with halogen lighting. This device provides an effective solution by intercepting the high beam signal directly from the vehicle's OBD-II port and wirelessly transmitting it to a relay, which then controls the auxiliary lighting system.

This wireless system eliminates the need for additional wiring between the engine bay and the car interior, simplifying installation. The XBB PowerUnit relay, connected to the standard relay harness, receives signals from the XBB OBD Dongle, ensuring that auxiliary lights activate in sync with the vehicle's high beams. The relay features two current outputs, allowing it to control both auxiliary lights and parking lights in the additional lighting system.

For easy setup, the XBB app, available on both Google Play and the App Store, enables users to select their vehicle's make and model. The app then transmits the correct settings to the XBB Dongle, ensuring seamless integration with the vehicle’s lighting system.
