For sale here is a very nice hollow-built rod by Cris Carpenter, an 8'4" 2/2 3-4wt bamboo rod weighing in at 3.60 ounces. Made in 2013. Six-sided construction. Excellent condition. Honey colored silks with black tipping at the ferrules, tip-tops, and winding check. Matte/oil finish. Blued hardware, a bit worn in places. Agate stripping guide. Cap and ring reel seat over rosewood spacer. "Carpenter" is engraved into the bottom of the butt cap. Super-Z style micro ferrules size 13/64, the fit is great. The action is on the medium side of medium-fast, flexing the entire length of the rod yet with plenty of backbone. Original bag and tube.
