This is no ordinary floor training bar! Achieving handstand control is a very important skill for beginners up through advanced gymnasts. The use of a floor bar puts less stress on an athlete’s wrists. Gymnasts will appreciate the Velcro bases which keep this bar in place without slipping and sliding.

The Floor Bar features Velcro on its feet to stay secure on carpet foam, allowing gymnasts to do giant, clear hip tap lifting drills without the bars moving. These floor training bars are also great for handstands, pirouettes, in-bar and late drops skills. The Floor Bar can be used in many creative ways with other Tumbl Trak products where "bounce to handstand" drills can be practiced.

This floor training bar is very sturdy and its wood surface is pleasant to the touch and provides for a secure grip.

Floor Bar and Closed Loop Carpet

While the Floor Bar is a great piece of equipment when used by itself, many gymnasts use it with closed up carpet. The Floor Bar has velcro pads on the bottom which stick to the closed loop carpet.

When you combine our Floor Bar with the Air Barrel and the closed loop carpet in your gym it becomes an extremely versatile piece of equipment. The Air Barrel Cradles and Floor Bar both use velcro to stick to the closed loop carpet. When you are practicing, you can use the Air Barrel to bounce back up for a more efficient and safer training session.
