For sale here is a Jenkins Model GA70L bamboo rod from the bench of Charlie & Steve Jenkins. 7 feet in length, two sections with two tips, for a 3 or 4 weight line. The rod appears to have never been fished, only lawn cast. Lightly mottle-flamed cane, 3 X 3 node spacing. The rod features caramel colored wraps and oxidized hardware. Garrison-style hook keeper as well as grip. Sculpted nickel silver checks. Cap and ring reel seat with fine mortised wood spacer. Oxidized Swiss style ferrules size 11/64, the fit is excellent.  The rod weighs 3 1/4 oz. and has a very smooth medium fast dry fly action. It's ideally suited for use with a DT3 line. If fishing within 25 feet or so, the rod would load a 4wt line nicely. Includes original green canvas bag and labeled aluminum tube.
