Made in 1975 during Bob Summers' era at the PHY Rod Co. The rod is in excellent and original condition. All sections are full length, straight and have never been repaired. The rod features the signature PHY mottle-flamed look that appeals to so many. Chestnut brown wraps blend well for an understated look. Blued guides. Bronzed stripping guide. The script, in Bob Summers' hand, remains clean and bold. Garrison style hook keeper. Cigar grip only lightly soiled and with the beginnings of light ridging where the caster places their thumb.
