Offered is a classic dual-signed ball from one of the game’s most coveted pairs – A Gorgeous Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris Dual Signed Baseball! Signed in bold blue ink, this is definitely one of the finest Mantle / Maris balls we’ve ever had in our collection – Mantle’s autograph has been graded 8 and Maris is graded Mint 9 by PSA/DNA.

Typically these dual-signed baseballs display significant toning. This one, however, is near perfect and remains in exceptional condition. Both Yankee legends have flawlessly signed their names in bold blue ink on this pearly-white Official 1983 All-Star Game Baseball, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the mid-summer classic!

Sadly, the 1983 All-Star Game / Old Timer’s Day would be Maris’s last major public appearance, as he was diagnosed with cancer that year and passed away just 2 years later at 51 years old. Due to his early passing, Maris did not attend the card shows or autograph signings of the 1990’s that were so popular. The amount of authentic examples to exist is miniscule compared to his contemporaries, especially those in such high-grade.

Of course, next to Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, this is the most coveted duo in the history of Major League Baseball. The 1961 season is one of baseball’s most iconic and important as the M&M Boys battled to break Babe Ruth’s single season home run record of 60 home runs. At the end of the season, they combined for a MLB record of 115 home runs, with Maris hitting 61 total HRs on his way to his second consecutive MVP and another Yankees World Series Title!
