The variegated version of Hachmann's Kabarett has has colorful purple toned pink flowers with a bold dart pattern on its dorsal lobe. The large ruffled petals and dorsal pattern almost hint at the look of an iris, only much lovelier with the full trusses and variegated foliage.

This medium-growing rhododendron prefers partial shade to full sun and can start blooming around May, depending on growing conditions. Hachmann's Kabarett can grow to around 4' tall at maturity and it is hardy to -10°F when protected against windchill.
