Q: Is this kit battery or mains powered?

A: This kit utilises the Godox AD200ProII as the main flash unit. These flashes are battery powered, so no need to plug them into the mains. Making them more versatile and portable. Each battery will last approximately 500 full power flashes, plenty for most shoots.

Q: Is this kit just useful for food photography or can I use it for other things?

A: Although this kit has been specifically designed with food photography in mind it does not limit you to using it just for this purpose. This kit features 2 battery powered flashes and a great selection of modifiers that can be used in all different aspects of photography such as portraiture, studio, fashion, on location, and more....

Q: Do I need a trigger and receiver for this to connect to my camera?

A: As this kit uses the Godox AD200ProII you will only need to purchase an additional Godox trigger, as the flash has the receiver built into it. Choose from any of the Godox X series triggers such as the XProII, X3, and X3Pro. Just be sure to select the right camera system when purchasing a trigger for example if you use a Sony camera you will need a Sony version of the X3 trigger to get the most out of your lights.
