Created in buttery 18 carat yellow gold and weighing over 7.5 grams, it has a satisfyingly weighty presence on the hand. At its centre sits an oval old cut diamond of approximately 0.50 carats, an unusual  choice in a gypsy ring, which were most often set with round stones. The elongated cut lends the piece an eye catching feel, its facets catching the light with a warm, antique sparkle that speaks to 19th century cutting style. The diamond is securely sunk into a smooth, high polished mount, the signature of the gypsy style, which was designed not only for durability but also for understated elegance.
