Reflecting on the Past, Creating Products for the Future
This project was born from a desire to offer something special for Rococo's 20th anniversary. As a select shop with a background in vintage clothing, we wanted to create a product that could offer new value even decades into the future.

What kind of product would that be?

- A fabric that doesn't degrade over time but instead becomes more charming with age.
- Durable enough for heavy-duty use in a variety of settings.
- A design that you'll want to keep wearing for years to come.

This collaboration is a culmination of Rococo's 20th anniversary, Nanga's 30th anniversary, and Sierra Designs' 60th anniversary. With a combined 110 years of history, we’ve crafted two products that we hope will be loved for the next 110 years as well.



NANGA
Founded in 1941 in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture. A down product manufacturer that continues to focus on domestic production. Uses safe, high-quality down and produces it using its own sewing technology. Known as the leading brand of winter down outerwear in Japan.

SIERRA DESIGNS
Born in California, U.S.A. in 1965.The company offers products that combine functionality and current fashion trends for people who enjoy fashion and outdoor elements.









An Evolved Functional Fabric
The fabric used in this jacket is a modern evolution of the groundbreaking "60/40 (Rokuyon Cloth)" fabric, first developed by Sierra Designs in 1968.

In collaboration with INVISTA, the nylon used in the 60/40 fabric has been upgraded to ultra-durable Cordura nylon.

While maintaining the excellent water repellency, breathability, and distinctive rugged texture, the fabric now offers enhanced wind resistance, durability, and tensile strength.





NANGA’s Ultra Water-Repellent Down
The down fill consists of high-quality Spanish white duck down treated with NANGA’s proprietary ultra-water-repellent finish. This 770 fill power down, called "UDD DX," offers excellent insulation, thermal efficiency, and resilience.

It protects against external moisture like rain and internal moisture from sweat, maintaining warmth by preventing the down from becoming damp and clumping.





Inherited Design with Refined Details
This down jacket design is based on Sierra Designs' iconic "Mountain Parka," reimagined through Rococo’s idea.



The 3-piece hood features a drawcord for adjustment, and the iconic leather toggles remain a signature detail.



The front features a double zipper design, and a placket protects against wind penetration.



The cuffs feature Velcro closures with adjustable gussets, and the large hand pockets offer ample storage with added functionality.



The drawcord at the hem keeps out drafts while allowing you to adjust the silhouette to your liking.





Carefully Crafted Silhouette
The silhouette is perfectly balanced—not too tight, not too oversized. Each part of the jacket is filled with 160g of down, carefully adjusted to maintain the perfect volume and silhouette.
