The 2022 Seligmacher is deep, intense and pure on the nose that is complex and saline but also very attractive—probably more so in three or four years than today. Full-bodied, rich and savory on the palate, the Stellmacher reveals rich and intense fruit but also a saline and slate-driven finish with finely grained acidity and great mineral tension. It is very young still but promising! 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in September 2023.
