Beautiful solid teak-framed sofa designed by Grete Jalk and distributed by John Stuart. Classic Midcentury modern/danish modern design. Cushions are in great shape and the couch overall is very comfortable. Brand new custom cushion covers! The cushion covers have zippers and are easily removable for washing.

Sometime in the mid-1950's John Stuart Inc. started importing and selling Danish furniture, mostly made by France and Daverkosen/Son. This sofa is an interesting early example of an American Midcentury modern company importing desirable Scandinavian furniture into the United States.
