Keim Granital Dilution is a product that serves two uses. In the first instance it forms a binding coat to consolidate friable surfaces, such as rough concrete walls.

Its second use is to act as a diluent for the following Keim coatings:

• Keim Granital
• Keim Granital Grob
• Keim Contact Plus
• Keim Contact Plus Grob

Comprising of liquid potassium silicate and stabilisers. Keim Granital Dilution reacts chemically with the substrate surface to produce a non-toxic and non-flammable protective coating.

Preparation & Application

Substrate Preparation
All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using KEIM Mineral Paints may proceed.

Application
For pre-treating highly absorbent substrates, apply KEIM Granital Dilution undiluted with a brush and work well into all surfaces. For diluting KEIM Mineral Paint systems, see relevant Technical Data Sheets.

Application Conditions
Ambient and substrate temperature above 5°C and below 30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto sun-heated surfaces, nor if it is raining or if there is an immediate likelihood of rain.

Clean tools with water immediately after use.
